Demi’s Nigerian Restaurant - Streatham - (Near Lambeth, South East)

5 /5 Aisling John: I and my friends came from Ireland to visit London, UK for the Christmas Market and for our first night, we decided to eat at the restaurant. The food was so delicious, atmosphere and ambience, 100/10. The customer service was good. We didn’t even get to finish taking our pictures before the food arrived.

5 /5 Maryann Okoye: My family and friends arrived from USA and we were famished! A friend of ours recommended Demi’s restaurant. One thing we loved about the menu before visiting is that they had a variety of Nigerian dishes everyone in the party could choose from. My siblings really wanted to eat Abula. When we arrived the place was clean, good Afro-music, and vibe was great! We were welcomed by Valentine who then took our orders. From the starters (giz-dodo, spicy beef, plantains, moi-moi) to the main dishes (designer stew, Abuja, yam porridge) it was all so delicious! The meat was fresh (sometimes other restaurant use old or sour food) but all the dishes we had at Demi’s restaurant was nice hot, fresh and authentic Nigerian food. They have a really great cook! Valentine was also very professional and prompt with our needs! I’ll definitely be back again before we head back to the USA. We were completely satisfied with no complaints! We highly recommend this place! 10/10

4 /5 Yvonne Ai: The food was delicious, the vibes were nice and the decor was well thought of. There were quite a few items that were unavailable when we came, so I wasnt able to order what I had my eyes set on initially. However what I did order was tasty and the portions were a great size. I look forward to coming back and hopefully having the original dishes I wanted.

5 /5 Ese: My time in the restaurant was an absolute blast! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with an inviting atmosphere reminding me of home. Super friendly staff who helped me make the right choices. But the food was the star of the show. Every dish was banging good, From the yam and egg sauce to the white rice and designer stew to the grilled Tilapia. It was the total experience! 10/10 recommendation from me.

2 /5 lily l: Not completely opened yet until the end of this month so some items were not available when I arrived and did not inform me about it in advance, was really keen on having goat unfortunately didn’t get to try it, no hot drinks as well. The dishes were ok, suya beef tasted like jerky beef. I’d say the roast whole fish and the beans meals are good portions, but the soup was only having a tiny bit of fish, nothing else in it and cost £22, was in a shock when I got it and it didn’t taste nice. The pounded yam was nice. Overall will not be returning.
