kekaki izakaya

Kekaki Izakaya - Lewisham

Rating: 4.8 /5
Rico Razzo Really great Japanese food - the gyoza were plump, crisp, and oozing with flavour and a delicious sauce. The prawn tempura was spectacular - really light crisp batter and succulent prawns, properly good. Fennel and cucumber salad was good, fresh, but perhaps a little over-priced for the size of the portion. All round great though and definitely worth stopping by.

The Watergate - Lewisham

Robert Jesse Second time being there and the restaurant never disappoints! Drinks and food were good — I did try the rabbit, wasn’t expecting the fried texture but the inside was delicious. I was hoping for a birthday dessert since I mentioned in the booking that we were celebrating my girlfriend’s birthday, but overall I’ll definitely go there again!

The Tandoori Parlour - Kent

Rating: 4.1 /5
Jodie Walker I have been ordering from Tandoori Parlour for many years, but it has got even better recently ... Ordered last night (20th march) and the food arrived within 50 minutes, piping hot and the best curry Ive had in a long time. I will be ordering again soon.

mess cafe

Mess Cafe - Hackney

Rating: 4.6 /5
Jan Hlavička A friend recommended Mess Cafe to me, and I can say with certainty that our friendship has been elevated as a result. There is not a single aspect of this establishment I could criticise. The interior is intimate and elegantly cosy, the staff are unfailingly attentive and gracious, and the food is of such quality that it feels almost transportive. The menu is so enticing that we spent a considerable amount of time simply debating our choices, as every dish appeared worthy of selection. With only around twenty five tables in total, advance booking is highly advisable. I fully intend to return and explore more of what this exceptional kitchen has to offer.
okko

Okko - Hackney

Rating: 4.4 /5
Leia Malot What a lovely surprise Okko was. My friends and I were looking for a space to accommodate us with no booking; and am I glad they found a spot for us. We had lots of bites to share; it was plenty of food to divide between 3 people. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. I am thoroughly impressed in particular by the salmon nigiri - it was the best I’d ever had. I also want to praise the service; we had the sweetest waitress. She was attentive, served us with a big smile, and made us feel at home. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a low-key, cosy japanese restaurant. Super experience.
