Gurkha Fire - (Near Kent, South East)

5 /5 SUNIL SAUD: Had an amazing experience here! Came on the recommendation of Chef Vishnu, and it truly lived up to expectations. The service by Jaya, and Sushmita were outstanding friendly, attentive, and professional throughout. The food and starters were absolutely delicious, especially the Fire Wings, which were perfectly spicy and full of flavor. Everything was fresh and well-presented. Highly recommend this place for great food and excellent service. Will definitely be coming back again!

4 /5 Twotone skaman: This was our first visit to Gurkha Fire and prior to booking we emailed the restaurant with a couple of questions that were answered promptly so we decided to book and visited for the first time on a Saturday night. Upon being shown to our table the noise levels in the restaurant were very loud which meant that you could not have a normal conversation without raising your voice. As others have mentioned the chef visited our table and answered our questions which was a nice touch. We ordered a mixture of starters and chutneys all of which were very nice as were the main courses. In our opinion the spice levels were higher here than in other Indian / Nepalese restaurants that we have visited (be very careful with the fire sauce!) however the flavours were enjoyably different from the norm! We also ordered desserts which were hit and miss ranging from poor to very good. Considering the restaurant was so busy the service was very good so we did not have a problem with the optional 12.5% service charge which was over £27.00. We had an enjoyable evening however when we went to pay the bill our server mentioned that they only got £1.00 of the tip which made us feel that we needed to pay more which when you have already spent over £240.00 slightly soured what was an otherwise enjoyable evening. Due to this and the noise levels we would not be in any hurry to return.

5 /5 Chantelle West: Well… what can I say? The food was easily the best I’ve had in a very very long time. The flavours, warmth and texture of the food were amazing. Spice level wasn’t overly dramatic and left a nice tingle in my mouth. The experience was topped off when the chef stepped out of the kitchen at he end of the night, I needed to thank him personally, the love, care and authenticity in the food made our evening and he very clearly loves what he does. Will be returning and bringing more friends and family to experience the food!

5 /5 Harpal Virdee: Amazing experience! We went at 16:30 for a joint birthday celebration on sunday then to our surprise (although I now know its normal), a musician set up and began entertaining. The food was brilliant, we basically ate a 4 course meal with 2 drinks each. Our server had to leave around 18:30 (presumably shift change) but she was so sweet she came back round to say happy birthday and thank us etc before leaving. Will defo go again and recommend to all. I would recommend the mutton katiya as you wont find it anywhere else! We told the chef in person but this is a review to let him and the team know how pleased we all were. Thank you
