Mye Green Mango - (Near Lewisham, South East)

5 /5 Roti Empress: I am not one to visit caribbean shops because the atmosphere is generally unpredictable and the food doesnt taste like home! However, ever since coming across Mye Green Mango who were initially the main place I sourced my patties, it has been non-stop visits! The food is tasty and I can tell it is freshly made and made with love which makes a huge difference nowadays! Their customer service is on point! The owner is always very welcoming and I can see she is well respected in the local community and Ive seen her offering and feeding homeless and vulnerable people on the odd occasions I have been there. To top it off the shop is super clean and the glass is sparkling! I have been recommending friends and family to visit and try their food and so far the feedback has been positive! Thank you for being one of the best caribbean shops that cook with taste and combine it with friendly and smiling customer service! You will see me again soon!

1 /5 Whosthatgirlevents: I bought a patty from this shop and was disappointed to find it covered in mould. It was completely inedible and should have never been sold in this condition. I won’t be returning. This is very concerning from a food safety standpoint.

5 /5 Jethro Jay Tan: We heard lots of good things about Mye Green Mango Cafe so we were very keen to visit. Authentic food with very good customer service. All the staff made sure we were enjoying our food and let us try their homemade sauces. I really recommend their Mango sauce! Will definitely come back.

3 /5 Sahil Gul: Got a large jerk chicken with rice and peas and coleslaw for £12.50. Was also meant to come with Mac and cheese but that wasnt included and since I was catching a train didnt have time to ask. Chicken was alright, if a bit dry. Jerk sauce was just BBQ and wasnt anything special. Their banner menu outside also doesnt mention anything about their lunch time deals which are mentioned on their website
