1 /5 Curtis Eaton: I ordered two chow meins, salt& pepper chicken and sweet & sour king prwan in cantonese style. Its my first time ordered in this place. Im disappointed, a big times, the chow mein is wet and a little undercooked. The worst bit is the prawn and the chicken. I was shocked when I see the prawns, its priced for £6.10. The batter of the king prawn is dry and way too thick, there is bearly any sweet and sour on it, half of the prawn and veg is dry. The prawn shouldnt be named as "king prawn" on the menu. It is tiny after you remove it of the batter, I just cant eat the batter. The chicken is served overload spring onion and garlic. Its too dry.

3 /5 Nicole Dudney: I have used this takeaway for years and have always been impressed with the food, however I recently ordered from the new menu and was very disappointed with the new noodles being used for the chow mein it was bland and soggy noodles that were almost like udon noodles which I don’t like. It has made me not wanting to use the takeaway anymore because my go to meal is chicken chow mein.

We are searching for a decent Chinese and genuinely feel obliged to provide this review given the place has a shocking 4.5 star review, we expected better. Ordered Tuesday evening and had a very disappointing experience, would not order again. The Cantonese style sweet and sour was terrible, the batter was too thick some of it uncooked and it was not edible even if you tried to force it. I am shocked a similar comment was made even 6 years ago, completely echo it. The prawn toast was alright, have had better and would not order again. The crispy chilli beef was possibly the worst we’ve ever had, it wasn’t crispy it tasted stale. On the theme of stale, the prawn crackers (fortunately free) were very stale, clearly a few days old. The special chow mein however was fantastic, it’s a shame everything else was not great so does not warrant a return. Spent £30 in total and regret it. If anyone sees this please do not order the Cantonese sweet and sour, it was absolutely beyond terrible.

5 /5 drv1967: Always my go to chinese , very polite and friendly staff on the phone , food arrived spot on the time quoted by friendly delivery staff . Food was boiling hot and tubs filled to the brim , full of flavour as always. I would highly recommend.
