1 /5 CY Jan: I live locally and used to come here quite often because the portions were big, with plenty of salad and tasty sauce. I came back recently after a few months away and was surprised that the portion was almost half the size, with very little salad and meat, and the sauce tasted different. The sudden change was quite disappointing. The cashier also asked if I work for the NHS, which felt a bit odd. I later noticed a small note saying the price was for NHS staff or students, but this wasn’t clearly shown on the menu. Before, everyone could buy it at the same price, and this change doesn’t really make the place feel as welcoming. As a local who used to really like this place, it’s disappointing to see this change, and I probably won’t come back again.

5 /5 Jason Court: Excellent food. Friendly service although a little slow. Really fantastic salad and flat breads. The perfect lamb chops. We ate in but you can take away to. Very very good.

1 /5 Marisa Doughty: I visited this restaurant after noticing a takeaway offer advertised outside. However, when I went inside, the staff member informed me that the offer was only available to NHS staff and students. As this didn’t apply to me, I decided to dine in instead. After paying for my meal and leaving the restaurant, I later checked the restaurant’s website and discovered there was a separate lunchtime takeaway offer available. Unfortunately, the staff member who served me did not inform me of this option when I asked about the advertised deal. Had I been made aware of it, I would have chosen that offer and received better value for money. I found this very disappointing, as customers should be fully informed about all available promotions so they can make an informed decision. This oversight left me feeling dissatisfied with the level of service provided. As a gesture of goodwill, it would be appreciated if the restaurant could offer a complimentary or discounted meal should I decide to visit again. I hope this feedback is taken constructively to improve communication with future customers.
