It’s a pleasant spot for lunch right in the heart of Oxford—buzzy without being frantic, polished without feeling stiff. The real draw is the set menu, which offers noticeably better value and plays to the kitchen’s strengths with simple, well-executed dishes. Step outside that menu, though, and the pricing starts to feel ambitious for what arrives on the plate. Enjoyable, certainly, but at full price it leans more towards convenience and location than culinary generosity.

5 /5 Jordan Green: Full when we arrived, so we sat at the bar with a drink while waiting for our table. Service was excellent from the start — attentive without ever feeling rushed, and the pace of service was spot on. The food was outstanding, with clear attention to detail in every dish we saw, including those being served to other guests. Everything looked and tasted thoughtfully prepared. HIGHLIGHT: Spiced pulled pork bites on the small bites section of the menu ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. There was a 13.5% service charge on the bill, but we were more than happy to pay it given the quality of both the food and the service.

5 /5 Ted Purnell: We had a great lunch at Quod - the food was delicious and there is always a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The service from our waiter Francisco was impeccable and he was attentive throughout the meal. Highly recommend.
