5 /5 Samantha Wordsworth: Incredible New Year’s Eve lunch with friends. The service was 10/10 and every dish amazing. What a great way to end the year. Cannot recommend this place enough. I wish I got more photos but we were too busy tucking in. Thank you for helping us end the year with great service and food.
5 /5 Louise Quested: Lovely little place the service was great and the food delicious, we had the set lunch menu £23 for 2 courses we couldn’t manage a dessert as well! The mussel bisque and the alioli was particularly good. It has a lovely little French bistro vibe and we will definitely return.
5 /5 Billy Planson: Wow! First time visiting, the food was absolutely incredible! The whole front of house team was so so friendly and personable. My new favourite restaurant!
5 /5 Jaci Neal: The best dining experience I’ve had in a long time on a busy Saturday night. The team proactively approached us about my coeliac disease which was mentioned on booking. Most dishes were gluten free but they also instilled complete confidence that they understood about CD and cross contamination and would take the utmost care. The service was impeccable, food was amazing, and it was so nice to be able to share with my non-coeliac partner. We had oysters, trout, mussels, pork loin and cake for dessert. Couldn’t recommend Samphire more highly for a truly enjoyable meal and experience.
5 /5 Alla Tsyganova: We had a really lovely dinner tonight! The food was amazing, and the atmosphere was warm, cozy, and relaxing. On top of that, the service was lovely—friendly, comforting, and it made you want to stay longer. Very lovely!
Grace Buckley Absolutely fab meal! The lady running the place is so sweet as well. We were staying in a hotel with no plates and cutlery and we find disposable plates and cutlery in with our meal, so kind! Brilliant place, thank you
Rupert Brun Friendly staff. Only one real ale available when we were there, but it was in good condition. The food is excellent. Ham hock terrine is a good choice of starter, the prawns were a small portion by comparison. Main courses were all tasty and leave room for apple furniture and custard.
JC Friend recommended this place when we spoke about the best fish & chips to try in Whitstable. Glad to say I wasn’t disappointed at all. Great portion and amazingly fresh taste. The batter was light and chips were cooked perfectly. Seemed like it was a local spot since a lot of people came in after us and you could hear a lot of friendly chatter with the owner.
