4 /5 N A: Excellent place, would give it 4.5 stars as my most visited restaurant last year. Not necessarily for people that think Indian food is from a classic local balti though, this is more actual Indian food (southern veg). Breakfast menu is great value and all items excellent, with a nice chai for £5. Other items from main menu have all been very good also, had a good range. Momos nice and spicy, thali very good. Delightful really. Servers very good. Nice people and nice ambience. Thank you.

5 /5 Nierav Patel: We’ve been going to Shinde Upton Park Veg Restaurant in London for quite some time now, and I can’t believe we never left a review before. But today felt like the right moment to give them the shout-out they truly deserve. Every visit has been consistently good, and that says a lot. The food is always fresh, full of flavour, and served hot. This time, the spring rolls were absolutely spot on — crispy on the outside and perfectly balanced inside. The paneer bhurjee was rich, well-seasoned, and tasted just like proper home-style comfort food. And the naans? Soft, fluffy, and the perfect pairing with everything on the table. A special mention to Govind for the excellent service. He was attentive, friendly, and gave some really good suggestions — including recommending the spring rolls, which turned out to be a great choice. It’s always nice when someone genuinely helps you decide and gets it right. We’ve been here many times and the experience has always been welcoming and satisfying. If you’re looking for quality vegetarian food in Upton Park, this place is definitely worth visiting. Keep up the great work — we’ll definitely be back again!I

The menu is thoughtfully organised into clear sections, making it easy to explore different styles of vegetarian Indian cuisine. The service was very good—friendly, attentive, and efficient. Most importantly, the food was delicious, full of flavour, and clearly made with care. Portions were very, very generous, offering excellent value for money. Highly recommended for both vegetarians and anyone curious to try high-quality vegetarian Indian food.

5 /5 Pranjali Nemade: I ordered vada pav from Shinde’s Pure Veg on Deliveroo and it was absolutely amazing. Very authentic, it genuinely felt like home. The taste, quality, and freshness were all spot on, and the pricing is great too. Highly recommend this place!
