What Clients Are Saying Sunny Hill Cafe (GG)
5 /5 Solmaz Mousaee: A beautiful and peaceful atmosphere with very positive energy. The breakfast was delicious. The staff were polite and professional, especially DERVISH who was extremely friendly and respectful.
Highly recommended,
I will definitely come back again.
5 /5 L Ella (ElaMy): I had a lovely experience at Sunny Hill Cafe! The atmosphere was warm, rustic, and peaceful—being set in a park really makes it feel like a hidden gem. I tried shakshuka for the first time—while it might not fully be to my taste, I appreciated the quality and care in how it was made. Next time, I’ll probably go for the schnitzel! The highlight for me was the carrot cake—freshly baked and absolutely delicious. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the visit even more enjoyable. A charming spot I’d happily return to!
4 /5 Ali Noorani: Had better food in the past. Still pretty good. Good brunch options. The schnitzel was disappointing. Had a Smokey flavor.
5 /5 Seymour Yang: This place is a little oasis! Wonderful food, super super friendly staff.
I last came here some 15 years ago but the small wooden building has expanded with more seats. It’s really warm inside, important in winter time!
I ate the halloumi in pitta with salad but they also let me try their home made chilli sauce and it was incredible!
Will definitely come again.
5 /5 Sandeep Bermi: A classic hidden gem in London. The word "cafe" does not do this place justice. Phenomenal food, service and vibes. Also remarkably priced less than ÂŁ60 for a family of 4 for a top class meal. Strongly recommend.
Shasain Small Definitely my favourite Japanese restaurant which I go frequently when I want Japanese foods. Foods are consistently fresh and delicious (including the sashimi), with a great variety of menu selection. Staff and chef are very friendly; the restaurant is really clean and cosy.
NB: I ate half of the takoyaki before filming, ie original portion size was double of whats shown in the clip.
Starters:
-Nasu Dengaku (aubergine in miso sauce)
-Takoyaki
-Sweet potato croquettes
Mains
-Seared salmon roll (prawn tempura centre)
-Grilled black cod with rice
-Salmon sashimi x2 portions
-Chu set (sashimi)
Highly recommended to anyone who would like to have Japanese foods.
Manuel Abayomi I ordered jollof rice with plantain and assorted meat, moi-moi, efo riro with pounded yam and assorted meat, and efo egusi with pounded yam and assorted meat. I paid ÂŁ23 for each of the dishes. At first, I thought it was expensive, but the portions, especially the meat, were generous. So, it the costs were reasonable and the food was extremely delicious.
Im No Chef Get Me Out Of Here Janice Nice and fresh and pleasant customer service. The food was cooked and handled and packaged with care xxx I have ordered a total of 4 times now doing both pick up and delivery and each time they have been consistent with their standard of food and service xx
Adam Scott We had our wedding reception here and could not recommend it enough. Finbar and all the staff were so welcoming and accommodating to all our needs and requests. We couldnt have asked for a better day. The food was fantastic for a finger buffet, much better than we expected and they were able to cater to food allergies/intolerances and the odd fussy eater. Everyone that came had a brilliant time and we had a lot of positive feedback. We even had access to set up from the day before. Thank you so much to Finbar and the fantastic team at the Claddagh for making our day even more special.
