5 /5 Jacqui Wallis: We have visited several times as a family. We have enjoyed amazing Sunday roasts. My son enjoyed a steak burger, I loved the salad with goats cheese, we had the special of mussels and we really enjoyed some oysters. Really excellent quality food, reasonably priced, friendly atmosphere, dog friendly. Highly recommend.
5 /5 David Richardson: Just wanted to thank you for a lovely Sunday afternoon. Staff were amazing, friendly, welcoming. The food was great, that lamb, and you had lovely locals and dogs. A perfect way to end a weekend of friends together.
5 /5 Sandy Thomsett: Lovely traditional pub. Food was good and friendly service.
We just had a selection of starters to share.
5 /5 C Harwood: Went to the fountain for Sunday lunch and have to say it was superb. Lovely friendly, warm atmosphere and great quality food.
I had the lamb, which was delicious and plenty on the plate too.
We fancied trying somewhere different and were so happy that we did.
Thank you to all at the Fountain for your great food and hospitality.

5 /5 Clara Keeley: We booked a table for 16 of us one Thursday evening a few weeks back. We ordered from a choice of beef, chicken or chickpea curry. The pub waited until we had all arrived and then served absolutely delicious curries and sides. Beautifully flavoured and presented. Real attention to detail and care. Extremely impressed, I highly recommend! Thank you to the chef xx
RJS An amazing evening and dinner service at this great little gem in Lewes.
The team were attentive, the food was stunning and we had a lovely time post meal in the bar too, following a chat with the head chef who was clearly passionate about creating a fabulous experience.
We can’t wait until our next visit and we will be dreaming about the gnocchi!
Ian I find the Depot such a lovely place to visit. I live in London . The atmosphere is so relaxing . The staff are 10/10. Excellent original menus at a reasonable price
Linda Mears This is a quirky little pub. So much to feast your eyes on inside! Food is very good, service and atmosphere is first class. The Snowdrop is only open from Thursday to Sunday. Check their website before visiting. But it is certainly worth a visit.
Jon Anderson We had a delicious brunch time snack at the cafe du jardin. The entrance way is unassuming but dont let that fool you, this rustic restaurant serves delicious bites and thirst quenching drinks in a relaxed and informal French cafe style both outdoor and indoor tables and believe me this place gets busy. Our server, Albie was an absolute gem, he worked hard to ensure no one was waiting, very attentive and capable. As you can see from my photos the food is excellent. However I wished I had ordered one of the tasting plates as they look fantastic.
