The Silver Sea - (Near Kent, South East)

2 /5 Megan Swift: Nice tasty food with good portion sizes but the order took 2 hours and 10 minutes to arrive. We ordered at 7.30pm so expected a bit of a wait but the restaurant should not accept the order if it’s going to take that long. Their delivery driver also didn’t read the order notes and got lost. Not sure if it’s worth the risk of ordering again.

1 /5 Callum: Awful service , ordered on just eat at 6pm , just eat says food has been delivered at 9pm and no food here. No one answered the phone. We have the gone there to find out they hadn’t even started cooking. Disgraceful service

1 /5 Alan Faux: Ordered our takeaway at 7 15pm. Was told we are very busy,and delivery would be in 1 and three quarters making it around 9 pm. Actually delivered 1hour and 40 minutes late at10 35. Ruined our evening My wife and I decided it was too late to eat. After 9 15 tried on mobile and landline over and over line busy or unanswered. .Not acceptable to be treated like this I will be asking for a refund,and will never use Silver Sea again

1 /5 dean bruce: Placed an order at 17.30 and hadn’t received the order at 20.30 as promised. Absolutely useless. Rang twice to find out where our order was and both times they added half hour to the process. Now I get it’s a busy Christmas Eve but if you know you’re gonna be busy then get extra staff in rather than promising the food that in reality is never gonna turn up. Please don’t ever keep someone waiting 3 hours with grand kids who haven’t eaten and now gone to bed with toast and biscuits for dinner. Complete lack of communication and compassion and if “you can’t handle the heat then get out the kitchen”. Appalling service and one dissatisfied customer that will definitely not be giving any more custom to this place who have taken on far more than they can handle. If you cannot complete an online order complete with order number and specified time then go back to telephone orders only. Avoid, unless your patience is on another level.
