5 /5 Emma French: Great spot for wine, nibbles and a natter! Really lovely vibe and they suggested a delicious white wine that is a new favourite. Can’t wait to go back!
5 /5 Aarun (AK): A great neighbourhood bar with some delicious wines and a welcoming atmosphere.
5 /5 Amy Kirby: A fantastic new addition to the High Street. Lovely, reasonably priced range of wines, super friendly and helpful owners, plus delicious cheese and charcuterie to go with the wine if drinking in.
5 /5 Gareth Jones: Disclaimer: we know these lovely people! We’ve attended Rob and Mel’s wine tasting evenings many times which are a recommended and great evening out if you like wine and want to know more but don’t want to sound like a sommelier!
Their latest venture at what used to be Gilbeys, is another great success. There have been several attempts at a wine bar in Amersham but these guys have got the formula right - great wines, great atmosphere at an affordable price.
Jarrod Hunt I love this pub. Very local as opposed to the big one up the road. Very friendly staff and good service. Food menu is not massive but good value, and has something for everyone. The beer garden is lovely, with a nice view over to the cricket pitch across the stream. Definitely worth a visit!
Laurie Farrelly I visit Amersham regularly with work & had always wanted to try this pub out.
I ordered the Steak & Caramelised Onion Sandwich. It was a nice Sandwich however my only criticism is that the bread had been shown a toaster. So it wasnt really toasted it was in between. That is the only fault I found. Hence the 4 stars for the food.
The service was great & the man that served me was very polite. The pub itself was immaculate & the outdoor seating area was lovely & well looked after.
Excellent size car park & I will definitely return.
Bologa Sergiu The food and service was at another level. The tasting menu is versatile and surprised us with its originality. We went for a non alcoholic pairing and it was fantastic.
Henry Cairns-Terry Samantha was our host for the evening and looked after us really well. She even allowed us to try a wine we were not sure of. We ate off the Dine Out fixed price menu. The food was excellent and the ambience great. Great food, great value.
Jenna Stunning cafe with absolutely delicious food! I had the soup with sour dough bread and a coffee. I even came back 1 week later and bought the exact same thing because it was so so yummy! They also have excellent gluten free options (my brother is coeliac and he had loads to choose from).
