5 /5 Tanya Markham: Oh my goodness absolutely gorgeous museum, a must visit for everyone with children especially. So much wonderful information about Amersham.
5 /5 Panos Papoutsis: Visited Amersham museum yesterday - lovely place, provides many details on the history of the place.
Plenty of cute cafes, pubs and shops around also.
I went on the Thursday and it was not difficult to find free parking nearby. Otherwise, there is city parking also, which is not very expensive.
5 /5 Niall Gavigan: A well-run, informative and interesting small museum on the main street. Its mostly volunteer-run and they do a great job in keeping it and making you feel welcome. Nice information on the contribution of women to the town. Not bad for £6. Check out the herb garden too.
5 /5 Jamie: This is a great place to go
Staff are very nice
It was very good
5 /5 Rebecca L: This is a wonderful and friendly local history museum housed inside a medieval building. The displays and art works are interesting, though I particularly love the herbal/ medicinal garden at the back. The staff here are lovely and the shop is well-curated. I have visited some rather ‘naff’ local museums before, but this one is a cut above the rest and worth visiting if you are in town.
