Bletchley Park - (Near Buckinghamshire, South East)

5 /5 Julio Hernandez: It is a great place to visit and see the history of where the English broke the German Enigma machine. They offer free guided tours at certain times. Highly recommend having afternoon tea at the Mansion, which must be reserved cause it is limited seating at different times. The history of that place, having tea in the same place Alan Turing might have and all the other people that broke Enigma. It is about an hour train ride out of London but easy to get to if you go the the Euston train station.

5 /5 amirsepehr aminian: Bletchley Park is an absolute must-visit! It was incredible to see the authentic Enigma and Lorenz machines up close; they are such iconic pieces of history. The exhibits do a brilliant job of explaining the complex ways those great minds worked together to break the German codes. It’s truly inspiring to see that genius in action. Beyond the history, the facilities are excellent. We had a great meal at the restaurant; the fish and chips were decent, fresh, and exactly what we needed after a morning of exploring. From the immersive displays to the lovely cafeteria, it’s a perfectly rounded day out. A fascinating, moving 10/10 experience!

5 /5 kevin mills: Bletchley park, a hidden secret for so long. Now peel beneath what was really going on during this top secret base. Where enigma was cracked by Turing and his team. The site is so interesting I spent a day and didnt get round half of it. Fortunately the price of entry means you can return free of charge for a year. Well worth a visit, one not to miss.

5 /5 steve murtagh: Excellent place to visit. Large area with numerous different displays in different buildings. Helpful staff. The hall is lovely. Cafe is good with nice selection of snacks. Lots of walking involved if you want to see everything, but outside the paths are good, and there is lots of seating everywhere for a quick rest.

5 /5 Captain Travel: Bletchley Park is an amazing experience. I would recommend that anyone with an interest in WWII must visit this site to gain an understanding of the codebreakers who worked here and their influence on the outcome of WWII. As you would expect of a top secret mission, nothing of the papers and machinery of the WWII operation remains. The physical remains are the buildings. The museum does an absolutely fabulous job of explaining the codebreaking work done here. It is only a quick train ride from London. So, there is no reason to miss this experience!
