Shardeloes Lake - (Near Buckinghamshire, South East)

5 /5 Julyana Siu: It is idyllic and picturesque, quite a lot of swans and sea birds there. I walked there from Amersham tube station. I walked along Rectory Hill to old Amersham, then walked along High Street and heading to the Amersham Cricket Club. There is a foot path beside Cricket Club and can easily reach the Shardeloes Lake. I then walked along the river Misbourne to the picturesque village of Little Missenden. It took my about half day and it is an easy and nice walk suitable for both adult and children.

4 /5 Deepa P: Shardeloes Lake has many water birds and past the imposing Shardeloes Manor. It continues through fields by the river Misbourne to the picturesque village of Little Missenden with its ancient church, manor house and pubs. The walk is suitable for parents with all terrain pushchairs as the path is easy to negotiate and there are only a few gates to open.
