5 /5 Steven McCallum: Have recently stayed 2 nights in the abode and loved the room and location. The building is very stylish and is staffed by well dressed friendly people. A special mention to Louis on reception, a charming and professional gentleman who ensured we had a comfortable stay and answered any queries we had with precise and clear answers. Would stay again.

5 /5 Troianii: Fantastic hotel, right in the heart of the city. It is just steps away from bars, shops, and restaurants. The rooms are very well maintained and spacious. Youll have ample space to sprawl out. The bathrooms are pristine, clean, and include very fine shampoo, conditioner, and soaps. The bed was luxurious, perfectly comfortable and soft. The staff is friendly, prompt, and flexible. The major downside I would say is the TV. It seems very outdated, could use an upgrade to a smart TV. Thats the only room for significant improvement.

3 /5 Nigel Cunningham: We stayed in the Abode, Canterbury for 2 nights over the Valentines night weekend. Centrally located this lovely hotel is perfect for exploring the many attractions in this tiny city. The hotel bar was welcoming with lovely staff who helped you choose a vast array of cocktails and wines on offer. We opted for a "Desirable" double room which the website told us had "premium bedding". Not quite sure what that was BUT what they didnt tell you was that the bed was very good at imitating an Olympic trampoline. The bed was so soft and bouncy that each time we took a breath, the bed rose by 6 inches in sympathy with our breathing. We have never slept on a bed which resembled a bouncy castle without the screaming children. The bathroom was tiny... no, it was smaller than tiny. Nowhere to hang anything - in fact it was so small that the towels were stowed in a black bag inside the wardrobe ! In summary, a fairly nice hotel perfectly located BUT dont expect much sleep.
