5 /5 Silan Aslan: We had the most wonderful experience at Alec’s, and a huge part of that was thanks to Ionut, who looked after us so beautifully. It was my birthday and he truly made the evening feel special — he took so much care with us, was incredibly attentive without ever being overbearing, and made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we arrived. His warmth, professionalism, and kindness really stood out and elevated the whole experience. The food and atmosphere were fantastic, but the service is what made the night unforgettable. Thank you, Ionut, for making my birthday such a lovely celebration — we’ll absolutely be back!

5 /5 Brad: I have dined here many times over the last few years, Ive had Fish, Ive had set menus, Ive had sunday roasts and it just doesnt disappoint! The staff are always on top form, and the music is perfect for any occasion! Its just a vibe! Its the kind of place you could have a first date or take your mum out for lunch and champagne. They do great coffee here too! I didnt take photos of the main eating area as people were eating, but I have some of our meals and the bar! As usual our food was 10/10!

5 /5 Oliver Young: My other half and I celebrated our anniversary at Alecs on Friday evening and we both couldnt have been happier. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left everything we could have wanted was taken care of to the highest standard. The service was perfect, all staff were attentive but not too intrusive. Wr are even treated to nice little story about hiw the champagne we had chosen came to be. The food was delicious, full of flavour and very fresh. Perfectly sized portions too, we both left feeling very full! As a very unexpected and classy touch we were even treated to a plate of desserts wishing us a happy anniversary and firdt night out since having our baby boy. Can not wait to come back here! A special mention to AJ and Vassi for looking after us, we cant wait to return. Ollie and Natalie x

5 /5 victoria boukerma: One of my favourite restaurants in Essex. Perfect for a special occasion or date night. Love their oysters and always have the pavlova for dessert. Highly recommend for top quality ingredients in a beautiful setting and attentive service.
