2 /5 Azina Richards: So I noticed this restaurant just opened recently and thought I’d take the risk. I ordered the jollof rice and beef suya meal - opted for a coleslaw side.
First of all, I find it criminal that the suya was served without any vegetable, no onion no tomato no nothing. Secondly the coleslaw arrived borderline hot - as if it had been resting on the table all day - today was 18 degrees for reference. It was also bland, and seemed to be expiring.
The jollof rice and suya itself was okay. Rice had flavour, beef was cooked well not too chewy.
Yagi spice is served in its own packet which is cool.
Overall it was ok for a £15 meal but there’s better nigerian establishments in the area which I would prefer to revisit over this one.
Peace and love.
