4 /5 amit bagal: It was the 31st of December 2025 when we decided to visit this place on my wife suggestion. We made a reservation and it was easy to get the place. At first I was bit sceptical about the place and food but glad that was not the case at all. The staff was friendly and professional. We ordered kids katsu for our daughter with rice and juice. For us we ordered the Dim Sum it had 6 pieces and they were perfectly cooked, great taste. Next we ordered passion fruit martini and they come with buy 1 get 1 so that was a stealer. For mains we ordered Singapore Laksa and Banana Tree curry. Both the dishes were outstanding, Creamy and tasty. So overall it was a great dinner of 2025 and we look forward to visit again in 2026. As a family that adores Southeast Asian flavors, we are frequent visitors and highly value this restaurant. We visited on a weekend evening, making an advance reservation; fortunately, we did, as the place was fully booked and bustling with diners. The restaurant occupies a moderate-sized space, featuring both indoor seating and an outdoor patio area with a clear, glass-covered canopy that allows natural light while providing shelter. The extensive menu offers a wide selection, including seafood options like fresh fish and prawns, as well as chicken and tofu dishes to cater to various preferences. My kids enjoyed classic favorites such as Thai Calamari, Banana Tree Spiced Noodles—an aromatic noodle stir-fry with a hint of spice—and both Singapore Laksa with prawns and tofu, each packed with rich, flavorful broth and authentic seasoning. We also ordered Ramen paired with crispy Gyozas. For drinks, we chose a refreshing Lychee & Lime Cooler and a robust Vietnamese Iced Coffee, served over ice with sweetened condensed milk. We particularly recommend the Thai Calamari, Banana Tree Spiced Noodles, and Laksa, as they offered truly authentic tastes and vibrant flavors characteristic of genuine Asian cuisine.

5 /5 Charlotte Gilbert: Banana Tree is a great place to dine with a group. They have a wide variety of dishes on the menu, making it easy to choose something for everyone. The food is always freshly made and of decent standard. The pad Thai is full of flavour, and the beef or duck dishes are cooked well. They also offer a great selection of cocktails and a 30% student discount, which is a win-win. I’ve dined here over five times and have never had a bad meal. 4 /5 Sarah H: Have been in small and large groups and they can cater to both. In my most recent visit we had the lamb rendang and the chicken wings. Both were good but the chicken wings were really delicious. Lychee mocktail is quite nice but basic. Really didn’t like the chicken ramen but that could be down to personal taste
