5 /5 Jasper Jameson: I had a commute ahead of me and my colleague suggested a McDonalds breakfast - I suggested a sit down and thank Gov I did! Shannon and Leila were so friendly and the all you can eat amazing buffet beat me! So much more value and a fun start to the day!

5 /5 Matthew Pumfrey: A pleasant surprise. Stayed in the connecting premier inn and had a breakfast and dinner in the Beefeater. Went for the continental breakfast gor £8.99 it was very good, a choice of cereal, pastries, some fruit and toast. It was very good, slightly chaotic at the buffet but to be expected really. Probably worth paying £2 extra for the cooked breakfast. The real surprise was dinner i had the sirloin steak for £17.79 and it was lovely, cooked just to my liking, good tasty piece of meat. The chips were great, peas mushroom were also good. For what I payed i was very impressed. My partner had the 4 starters for £17.99 all of which were lovely. To top it off all the staff were friendly, attentive and enthusiastic. Very happy and would go back.

Went there this evening 17/01/2026 and what a shambles, I mean look at my pic, the garlic was one piece of normal bread cut into triangles with a bit of garlic butter, absolutely shocking. The whole meal was dreadful to be honest, slow service, watching the food being served be kitchen, looked like a prison canteen plates with stuff just being thrown on. Disgusting place. Won’t be going back.

4 /5 B S: Had a few dishes here at about 6pm 16 Apr 2025, so had ordered halloumi fries, fish and chips, caesar salad, plant burger, and biscof sundae, millionaires brownie, passionfruit cocktail and a lemonade, the food was good apart from the brownie sundae, the fish was chunky and the accompanying chips were soft, the caesar salad was not as crispy as I would have liked. The plant burger was good, especially the fake bacon used in it. It also came with a vegan coleslaw, and that hit the spot. The sevice was a tad slow, but at this time, the place was packed. The meal was expensive ie £76, the better way would have been to have a breakfast/lunch combo which would have cost £28 pp!! Did go the next day and had the £8 meals and the fish was not as large as the £13 one, but nevertheless the meals were good,staff throughout the stay were very helpful especially Shannon, who was honest, helpful, and patient.

1 /5 No Name: Whole place smelled of very dirty cooking oil. Stood waiting to be seated and completely ignored. Eventually seated. Food ordered. Small portions. Extra £5 for the smallest fillet steak "upgrade". Definitely NOT worth it. Ordered steak medium and got well done. Chewy, gristly and no taste. Staying in the attached hotel for a number of nights and did not set foot back in the place. Ridiculously expensive for very poor quality food. Definitely do not recommend
