Pokin Utaisup First time staying around the Shepherd’s Bush area and I stumbled upon this interesting concept restaurant. The food and atmosphere were perfect, exactly what I needed after a long day of travelling. I really enjoyed Tomapork, the pork steak with Thai flavours, and all the cocktails were excellent. The Hoxton beer was a great touch for a beer lover like me too. A special thank you to Mai, who provided outstanding service. I’ll definitely be coming back the next time I’m in London.

ashley W Superb. We have spent the best part of a week in The Met. From sitting outside in the sun drinking beers, cocktails and wines through to coffees ice creams and dinners. The food has been amazing. The variety really thoughtful and the flavours really enjoyable. We have had 3 dinners here and they have all been good (see pictures) the deserts were great too. Salted caramel espresso martinis and the Ales sitting outside people watching all day then at 6pm inside for dinner. The staff are amazing and helpful friendly chatty and knowledgable. A true gem down on the beach front. Really enjoyable inside and out. A must if down in Ventnor either for a quick drink or dinner. Oh true olives too.

Pranav Kasetti The mushroom dumplings (xiao long bai) were light, delicate and delicious. The chocolate dumplings with cream fillings were also delicious, unique and refreshing. The veg noodles with spicy sauce was also great. I’d suggest sticking to the chef specials. Good vegetarian options, friendly service and the atmosphere is very refined. We loved seeing the care and attention to details taken with preparing the dumplings at the restaurant at the open kitchen. Overall, highly recommended!

San s Dined in on Friday and wow. I can’t believe I hadn’t discovered this place sooner. It was such a nice vibe, really aesthetic decor and amazing service. So many options for food. We got the platter for 2 and it was so flavoured and well seasoned. It was rather big for two people, and the bread and dips were lovely too. Service from Ahsan was wonderful, he made our experience even better. Would definitely recommend & will be back.

Belle Congolaise -

Oseko Lomanga This is the number one Congolese restaurant — truly the best of the best. No one rushes you or chases you out after you finish your food, which makes the experience even better. It’s the best Congolese restaurant in the world, in my opinion. I felt like I was at an immunotherapy party — bravo! Please keep it clean as usual. It’s a great place to take your partner and enjoy a proper meal in a relaxed atmosphere. Only a few things could be improved, such as the kamundele — it wasn’t very good this time. Maybe changing the preparation method or the type of meat could make it better. Overall, an excellent place and highly recommended.

Lihiniya, Sri Lankan Restaurant, London - Brent

Ben R The buffet is really excellent, you have to come and try it if you like Sri Lankan food. The spice level was just about right. Spicy but not too spicy, so you can still taste and enjoy the other flavours of the food.
