3 /5 Melissa Elliott: I made a group booking 12 days in advance. A few people in the group then did not attend, which turned out to be fortunate as the restaurant said they didnt have room for us, despite making a reservation in advance. They offered to separate us on different tables and instead we made space elsewhere by bringing tables together so we could sit together. Had all of us attended as per the booking number then this would have been even trickier.
There did not seem to be enough wait staff for the volume of customers. The waitress we had was not friendly or polite, which may be partly due to how busy the restaurant was.
A few members of the group ordered starters and asked for them to be brought out with the mains. This did not happen.
There was about a 50 minute wait for food from the time of ordering. Personally I enjoyed the size and taste of my meal when it arrived, but that is the only positive comment I can make on my experience.
On the bill there was a significant price difference between two of the exact same main (the cheaper price was the correct one), which was identified by us and then rectified by the staff. We overheard another table have the same issue.
Based on this experience and another poor one the only other time I visited this restaurant a few years ago, I would not be interested in returning.
