5 /5 Rikki Hunt: Lovely food and really generous portions – definitely great value for money! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a meal. Service was excellent, especially from Noor, who was friendly, attentive, and made us feel very well looked after. Would definitely recommend and will 100% be coming back!

2 /5 Mohammed Hoque: Overall, this was a mixed experience: excellent service and nice decor, but disappointing food and some basic facilities missing. Service: 10/10 Food: 6.3/10 Atmosphere: 7.5/10 Facilities: Toilets available, but no baby-changing facilities. The service was excellent throughout – staff were friendly, smiling, attentive and very helpful. The decor and atmosphere were pleasant and added positively to the visit. For starters (shared between two): the lamb chops were overcooked, while the wings were undercooked, with no char, a squishy texture, and very little flavour. The halloumi was cooked well but arrived cold. The chicken tenders were crispy and properly cooked. The prawns were covered in so much sauce that it was hard to taste the actual flavour of the prawns. The brisket tray was a mixed success: the brisket itself was very good (8/10) – soft, tender and well cooked. However, the rice was rock hard, tasted old, and was essentially inedible. From the kids’ menu, the “Lil Ones” chicken tenders came with a generous portion of chips and a mini Fruit Shoot, which was good value. The Matilda cake was a good-sized portion and came with a choice of custard or ice cream; the warm custard was a nice touch for November, but the cake itself was a little dry and really needed the custard. The Smash Shawarma Burger was disappointing: the shawarma looked undercooked and unappetising, so it was sent back, and to their credit, staff handled this politely and professionally. Overall, while the decor is attractive and the service is outstanding, the food lacked depth of flavour and was often smothered in fairly ordinary sauces that seemed to mask, rather than enhance, the dishes.

4 /5 V A: There was somebody handing out leaflets in the high street so thought why not give it a try. It’s a lovely looking restaurant with very polite staff. Please note the leaflet has different pricing from the menu in the restaurant (higher prices inside). We ordered a sharing platter and 2 different types of burgers as well as a milkshake. The food was decent, and we enjoyed it. The platter had a nice selection and was tasty, the wings were mediocre but prawns & lamb chops were delicious. The portion size of the burgers were large and filling. Worth a try!

3 /5 Ahad: ⭐ 3/5 – Newly opened, good presentation but needs improvement I appreciate that the branch has just opened, and the presentation of the food is genuinely good. I don’t want this review to sound harsh I just hope it helps improve things as you grow. A few suggestions: 1. It would be helpful if the staff received a clearer briefing on basic service steps, like providing plates for starters and confirming whether customers want to begin with drinks first. 2.The cutlery kit should ideally include spoons, especially when serving desserts. 3.In the Mango Daiquiri, the cut piece of mango was a bit confusing without any cutlery, are we supposed to eat it with the straw? 4.I ordered the loaded steak, and unfortunately it was disappointing. I’m not an expert on steak, but the medium rare was quite tough and the well-done felt rubbery, so the texture didn’t justify the price. 5.About the waffles they are nice when served hot, but they become very hard if left even for a short while. If they are frozen waffles, it’s better to inform customers beforehand. Also, serving ice cream with only a knife and fork makes it difficult to eat. 6.It would also be nice if water bottles were offered to the table without needing to ask. 7.Lastly, celebrating birthdays with music is a great vibe, but do keep an eye on the volume so it doesn’t disturb other guests. I understand the place is newly opened, so please take this as friendly feedback. The food presentation and concept are good I genuinely hope things improve.
