5 /5 Michael Watkins: Best curry in town hands down, been going for years and make sure we go every time were back in Dorking visiting mum! Staff are very friendly, recommend the chicken tikka masala!
5 /5 K Jane: Edit: 4 years later and food is still absolutely fantastic! Whenever I’m in town I get a curry and it’s the best I’ve had in my life. Quality hasn’t changed over the years.
Food always arrives hot and on time, brilliant selection of both classics and specialties. If you eat in, the staff are very accommodating and polite, will always check to see if you’re enjoying your meal.
1 /5 Faraz K: Ordered a tarka daal, had no flavour. Tasted like a bunch of lentils with hot water.
3 /5 Graham Faulkner: I find it very sad that Im writing this as we have been loyal customers since their beginning - in fact I was there with a friend on the first evening it opened! Just had a bad experience last night when as an after-thought after ordering and paying £80 over the phone we asked if they would please chuck in a couple of mint sauces for our three starters and they said only if we pay the delivery driver £2 on delivery (as they retail them at £1 per pot, which probably costs them 10p!)! Phone was passed to the manager who we have also known all these years and he would not relent, saying that he has to treat all customers equally - well that means no hope for anyone then. I was so frustrated at their attitude I hung up and waited to see what got delivered - and lo and behold they stuck to their guns and no mint sauce arrived. Just cant get over how tight they are when a simple gesture would have been much appreciated. The food is great and we will continue to use them, but the lack of willingness to agree to such a simple gesture leaves a very bad taste in the mouth.
4 /5 Emma Robinson: This is my second takeaway from here and it didn’t disappoint. This time we ordered king prawn Shatkora ( delicious) , mushroom rice, brinjal bhaji, saag bhaji, lamb madras and poppadums.
The brinjal is the best I’ve ever eaten and I’ve tried many over the years.
Ordered over the phone which was easy and was told it would be an hour wait as busy but arrived within the hour. I can’t find fault hence my review.
Guy Thompson Great little cafe on the town centre.
Not a huge menu, but everything is perfect!
Lovely attentive and friendly staff!
Will be coming back!
Ivy Chen Really enjoyed the food! Sushi was made on the spot behind the counter, tasted excellent and looked spectacular too. I had a chicken katsu; the chicken had a good panko crust like you would expect was very crispy and the fresh vegetables & salad dressing was a nice addition too. A good value for the portion size with plenty of chicken. All the staff were very polite and kind which is also a nice bonus!
Definitely worth a try and I will be eating here again!!
SY K Delicious Thai food at a reasonable price! I had the shrimp Pad Thai and it was absolutely delicious. I stumbled upon this place by chance, but the flavors really suited my Asian palate — plus, the portions were generous!
G C The reception service was very swift and efficient and the young lady that helped us was very friendly. The food was great and the portion sizes more than reasonable with very convenient pricing. The view from the terrace was breathtaking which complimented perfectly the ambiance. The food was served promptly and Isobel was very friendly and polite. Overall, 5 stars, highly recommend!!
Stefan Hyun Lee In my opinion, this is the best restaurant in Dorking. It seems like quite new (or recently renovated) judging by interior and the menu but everything is done very nicely. Food is outstanding and very friendly staff. Good selection of a la carte menu and some courses as well. Could improve on hot beverage selection but there are plenty of cold drink options. Highly recommended!
