Dino M This is a true gem in Elephant and Castle! The warm and welcoming atmosphere sets the tone for an amazing dining experience. They offer a fantastic variety of fresh, high-quality seafood at reasonable prices, making it perfect for sharing with friends. The Essex oysters, in particular, were absolutely delicious. Highly recommend checking this place out. Thank you for the great experience!

oladipupo adesola The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with lovely service that made us feel right at home. We started with the bruschetta topped with pesto, crab and mango, which was such a fresh and flavourful combination. For mains, we had the prawn paccheri and spaghetti vongole, both cooked perfectly with beautifully balanced sauces. The rosemary new potatoes on the side were deliciously crispy and fragrant — a great addition to the meal. Everything tasted authentically Italian, clearly made with care and high-quality ingredients. It’s so nice to have a restaurant like this in Sidcup — we’ll definitely be coming back soon!

Marta D Delicious food, drink, and dessert. The chilli fish was crispy, tasty, and perfectly cooked. We requested a change on the noodle, and it was good. The mango with sticky rice was also delicious. The staff (a lady) was very nice, friendly, and attentive. The ambiance was cozy with soft music, and good interior design, very comfortable, and not too noisy. Seating area is only available indoor. Toilets for customers are available.

stefan rogers Every time I go in here it gets better and better then fried dumplings are cooked perfectly. I always have the brown stew chicken which is amazing. Last time I had the curried goat and it was so flavoursome ill definitely be having that again. Quite alot on the menu so enjoy and tuck in.

Noémie Bruel The food was absolutely delicious, octopus was the highlight for me, baba ganoush and truffle hummus were very nice too. Great selection of wine. The saffron pistachio ice cream was nice but perhaps a bit too sweet for my taste. Service wasn’t the warmest but will 100% go back, especially with 50% off food via the fork booking offer!

Ram Tharshi Celebrated a close friend’s birthday at Virundhu, and what an unforgettable evening it turned out to be! From the moment we arrived, the service was absolutely exceptional. The team went above and beyond to make our private dining experience seamless and special. A particular mention has to go to one incredibly helpful staff member who was so accommodating with all the surprise arrangements. Nothing was too much trouble — he even jumped in to help us blow up balloons for the decorations! That level of care and genuine enthusiasm truly set the tone for the night. The private dining space itself was stunning. The ambient lighting created such a warm and elegant atmosphere, and having full use of the screen, sound system, and comfortable booth seating made the celebration feel both intimate and lively at the same time. It was the perfect setting for a birthday surprise. Now, the food — simply beautiful. Every dish was full of flavour and presented with such care. You could really taste the quality and authenticity in every bite. A lovely touch was the children’s meals being served on traditional banana leaves — it looked so vibrant and visually appealing, and it added to the whole cultural experience. A heartfelt thank you to Sam, the hardworking chef behind the scenes, and the entire team at Virundhu for making the evening so memorable. Your dedication, warmth, and attention to detail did not go unnoticed. It was truly a fantastic experience, and we can’t wait to return!
