5 /5 Theresa Baker: Brought my son and his family to visit so that we could exchange presents and eat together pre Christmas. The staff were superb and the food and atmosphere were fabulous. Would highly recommend this place.

5 /5 Dai Tree: The Green Man, South Putney. A lovely pub on a busy road, opposite a bus gathering spot. A great offering from the Youngs stable. Great staff , efficient and smiling. Both Original and Special from the cask along with the expected keg offerings. Plenty of room inside and a magnificent garden to the rear. A super place for a pint or two.

5 /5 Katie Bragg: The Greenman is our favourite local pub. My children love the chips/fries and say they’re the best they’ve had. I have to agree with them they are delicious. They often ask to go to the pub and especially love the outside area. I recently celebrated my birthday there, we were a party of 12. The food and service was excellent. I had the bavette steak and chips, very delicious and perfectly cooked. The ambience is great and you can hear yourself talk. They have the right balance of music, and the layout of the pub enables conversations without having to shout. We particularly like the outside area in the summer and also it’s great (with heaters) in the winter if we’re popping in for an afternoon drink/ fries. Highly recommend this pub.

4 /5 Heather Dennis: We came here for my father’s wake on 12/2/26. The staff were sympathetic, helpful and friendly both before and during. We put some money behind the bar and the staff kept us updated as to how the level was as needed. Would recommend to any grieving family if you are organising a wake, they make everything stress free.

5 /5 Igor Simonov: Fish and Chips - really really good. Crispy, flaky, and succulent fish with and chips were perfect. Comes with a curry and tartar sauce + mushy peas. The scotch egg - disappointed. It felt like it was made ages ago and just heated up. Egg was not runny and tasted stale. The meat was meh. Because the fish and chips were amazing, still 5 stars!! Nice outside area too. A little expensive - £18 for fish and chips
