The Fat Indian Takeaway - Havering

Anish Haridas Ordered a takeaway on Friday and I must say it’s probably the best Indian food I’ve had in the RM area. It’s hard to find a genuinely good Indian restaurant here, as many don’t feel truly traditional but this one absolutely delivers. I tried the biryani and it was packed with flavour and very spicy. I work nearby, so I’ll definitely be back to try more of the menu.

Tilia & Etsu Sushi Bar - Havering

Rating: 3.5 /5
Katherine Chu I ordered a delivery via Just Eat. Im not sure whether Gourmet Japanese & Bento have changed management or not but they share the same address. While Tilia & Etsu is a new profile on Google, Gourmet Japanese & Bento is established seem to have very poor reviews. They dont seem to have a shop, just a premises to cook from and provide a delivery service. Anyway, to my review... The delivery came on time. I ordered the Sea Lover Sashimi Box at £15.95 and the Shichimi Chili Calamari £5.95. Sea Lover Sashimi Box - The Salmon, Tuna and Eel Sashimi were good and fresh but the Prawn Sashimi was the weirdest Ive tried before. It looked raw but it was rubbery, chewy and tasted of pickle, it wasnt very nice at all. Shichimi Chili Calamari - Not really nice, the batter was too thick and the calamari was rubbery. Edit: I made another delivery order, this time, we ordered a meal deal for 2 (see images), which comes with 2 Donbury Rice Bowls with 4 pieces of Vegetable Gyoza, 12 pieces of Vegetable Maki and 2 selection of Drinks. We chose the chicken and beef rice bowls. The flavours were great and a very good portion of food that will definitely fill you up. The only problem is that the beef (see image) was tasteless, hard, chewy and dry. It was like chewing on cardboard so it was not prepped/cooked properly and/or used cheapest cuts of meat which was very disappointing.

Hetal Shah The first time I ordered here food was on point minus the panner 65. 2nd time I ordered the chutney was spilled all over and the dosa wasnt that great and hardly any masala. My 3rd order the dosa is soo oily now! I might as well go and eat at taste of India with all the oil. The sambar is sooo cold. The utttpa isnt great only put onion and so tiny! Do not buy it.

Emile Geodjenian One bloke said outside of this restaurant in Harold Wood “it’s not bad mate” and “not bad” doesn’t quite cut it, it was top quality. If I was ever going to come back to Harold Wood in my lifetime, i’m going back to this spot. Service solid Atmosphere solid Food top tier This place does everything that is needs to do. A cheeky spot in Harold Wood by the train station, I highly recommend.
