Lillian Quinton I’ve been coming here for a few years now it’s always brilliant food/drinks original ideas and fun/tasty menu at a very reasonable/good price! I recommend coming down and having a hot drink and warm meal, breakfast and lunch and both beautiful. 10/10 place!

jayne leaver What a great little place in the heart of Herne bay… booked for Sunday lunchtime and had a fabulous meal.. we were a party of 5 and all had something different and all enjoyed excellent food and SO much of it that we all took a doggie bag home… Staff were friendly and welcoming will definitely return

Pizzatastic (Pizzatastic) Attended the Makcaris in the bandstand today for a late lunch as recently moved back to the area. I wasn’t sure what to expect as I didn’t know much about the place but when they gave us our food we were speechless (in a good way) at the quality and presentation of the food. And it taste as good as it looked! The pricing for a coffee, Coke Zero, club sandwich and French toast was just under £30 which is quite steep - but for a treat and the quality it was I think the pricing is fair. The staff were also lovely and polite, will definitely be revisiting.

Chloe Jackson Just had a delicious meal from The Shad! Chicken Dhansak, Pilau rice, garlic and coriander naan, with mint sauce and their homemade red sauce. Tasty, hot, fresh!!! Excellent. Will be back!
