Paul H We had a fantastic evening at Koyal. The restaurant offers a different touch of sophisticated Indian dining experience but still at very reasonable prices. I highly recommend trying out one of their special cocktails. The Kid Goat Methi Keema starter was the absolute standout—tender, perfectly spiced, and full of depth, the Muntjac Dum Biryani was to die for. Because the chefs come from a Michelin-star background (Gymkhana), the flavors are incredibly refined and layered. It’s a joy to have this level of regional, Himalayan-inspired gastronomy right here in Surbiton. You get Mayfair-quality food without the need to trek into Central London. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to explore "proper" Indian cooking!

Adelina Sarivan We had a wonderful dinner at this restaurant . The service is impeccable attentive, every staff member went above and beyond, especially Maria. Food had a great intense taste and super fresh. Definitely will come back!

Joannaa (BibiP) The food seems to be completely ordinary British food, but the flavors and freshness are at a high level. The chips were perfectly crispy and the meat juicy. Only the bbq sauce was a bit too salty and drink too sweet for the hot day but this is a minor drawback. Large portions and fair prices. The service is okay, the customer does not feel trapped. You can talk freely and relax in this bar. Nice and quiet place, I will definitely come back here.

Lydia Bown Brilliant food, very tasty. I had the bacon sandwich and asked for salad even though it doesnt usually come with salad, and they were happy to do it for me for £1 extra. It was very nice. Lovely people, both the people running the place and the other customers. Beautiful view sat outside.

Andy Shennan Fast delivery, unfortunately our order was missing a naan. This was the first time I had used Simply Indian, the gentleman making the delivery, apologised a lot and took the takeaway back, returning in 5 mins with the complete order. He would not take payment!!! as the wrong order was their fault. I was astounded and quite frankly I felt a bit embarrassed by the affair. Will definately use them again, food was great.
