Ade B Another superb visit to The Chequers, Marlow. We went there to celebrate a birthday and from previous visits, knew the food was going to be fantastic. Our expectations weren’t disappointed; the steak was cooked to perfection and the treat of a birthday cake was most welcome. The setting is beautiful and the staff are always polite, friendly and helpful. Caiti ensured our meal service was excellent. We will definitely go back and wholeheartedly recommend this place for its location, service and quality of food.

The food is consistently great, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. The service is equally impressive—friendly, attentive, and professional. Overall, a wonderful dining experience every time. T S We had the seven-course tasting menu and I swapped the mushroom risotto for a tomato dish. The service was attentive and friendly throughout. The scallops were delicious and paired perfectly with the romesco sauce. The duck was tender with just the right amount of juicy fat. A couple of small downsides were the bread, which tasted a bit like airplane bread, and the desserts, which were a little too sweet for my liking. Overall, it was a great meal, and everyone really enjoyed it. Good value for the price and I’ll definitely be back!
