Evie Groves Hadn’t booked a table but after a very warm greeting was shown to a lovely cosy table. Waitress was lovely and polite. Recommended a couple of things off the menu. Love the decor. The new owner introduced himself and you can see he’s put his heart and soul into this new business. Very nice vibe. Food was delicious. The lamb was like butter. Melted in your mouth. Delicious olives. Great service. As a local I will be back and back again. Good luck and many thanks.

Jess We had our wedding reception at The Top Oak, and it was such a wonderful day. The staff, Manos, Lou and Kerry kept our day running flawlessly with outstanding service.The roast dinner meal serving 55 guests came out so effortlessly, all piping hot, and was delicious, We wouldn’t have asked for a better experience. From start to finish the team understood our vision and wholeheartedly threw themselves into it. We are so grateful to all at the Top Oak, and wish we could do it all over again. I couldn’t reccommend this venue more, and hope, if you are looking for a wedding evening venue, consider The Top Oak, to have a day like ours. Because it was everything we dreamed of!

Justin Rogers-Cooper Delicious, authentic plates, small and large, of decadent dazzling dishes. Splendid crispy shredded beef and smoked shredded chicken, delicate soft dumplings, risibly scrumptious spring rolls. Filling vegetarian Singapore noodles and egg-fried rice. Fried vegetables prepared with different flavors, and unexpectedly enticing fried turnip paste. Do also try the deep fried bean curd with garlic spicy salt. Efficient service, with food coming out piping hot. Pleasing Jasmine tea and glutenous rice balls with sweet black sesame paste filling inside, with a nice nutty twang. Popular and bustling. Reservations recommended.

Kenneth Liu The service was fantastic, amazing and friendly waitresses and the owner came out for a chat too. We used a Groupon voucher and unlike other places where you get treated like second class citizens we were treated like royalty - kudos to the staff. Again even with a Groupon deal the food was really high quality and delicious. The hot fish platter and scallops are must orders!

Cezanne Scinteie I absolutely love this Romanian shop! The products are always fresh and they have a large variety of meat, cheese and sweets. Its definitely the best Romanian shop Ive seen in the area. Not to mention, the customer service is outstanding. Stefan, the owner, is always there to help and goes above and beyond to make sure his customers are happy. I highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for authentic Romanian products.
