Seriously, not only did Caravan Tech fit me in for pressing work on my motorhome, at very short notice, Ian bussed me the short journey to the Merriments Café. Where we got a very dog-friendly welcome and settled into a log-burner heated snug with leather sofas and chairs. The rising price of coffees is not confined to this place, however. A popular venue which comprises tiled floors, country pine tables and some imaginative use of umbrellas hung from the conservatory-styled roof, to combat heat gain. Decent Wi-Fi helps, too. At the time of writing the early stages of the project plan to move the CT side of the business to this site is evident. My experience of both the café, the sale of equipment and spares and the workshop have been exemplary. Kudos. There is a baked goods display and a kitchen turning out food which seemed to go down just fine. I will happily return

4 /5 AG. CGM LTD: This was a lovely hidden gem. I had eaten when we arrived and was quite gutted as they had some banging looking cakes. Cheesecake looked out of this world. My friends ate and the food looked really appetising. The gardens were reasonable price to get into and were really beautiful, it was undergoing restoration but what they had done so far I was impressed with and was happy to give money to the cause.

5 /5 Alan Amesbury: This is a little gem of a garden, a maze of paths around the garden flower beds with a stream running through with a few ponds and boggy areas to complete the experience. We were informed that the garden has changed hands and now belongs to the adjacent caravan park who are restoring the garden. RHS are no longer involved with the garden so RHS members have to pay. We eat at the cafe and the food was very good and the staff friendly and helpful. Certainly worth a visit.
