3 /5 Alex Zaikin: We’re big fans of Asian cuisine, so we’re always exploring new places in the area.
From the outside, the place looks nicely organized. However, the artificial flowers in the décor and the condition of the bathrooms create a rather poor first impression.
The menu is an interesting fusion, but the dishes were not consistently good. We ordered several items: salmon carpaccio, fish tiradito, bao buns, basil chicken, and pad Thai for our daughter. The raw fish didn’t feel very fresh. The bao buns were quite nice. The noodles were simply egg noodles with vegetables and chicken—nothing even remotely close to pad Thai.
The basil chicken deserves a separate mention. It was sliced chicken breast, lightly seared with basil and what seemed like a spoon of cornstarch. Almost no seasoning—bland and not tasty at all.
Overall, a very poor effort from the kitchen. I’m not a professional chef, but I still wouldn’t expect a dish like that even if I tried.
