5 /5 Eloise: 100% worth the wait!! Good value for the taste: delicious falafels, warm tahini sauce with hot peppers, and fresh veggies. I asked for additional sauce which they added generously and kindly. 1 option on the menu and it did not disappoint I particularly liked the fluffy bread, the fact that they kept it in a warm steamed bowl before serving and the touch of fresh coriander which enhanced the flavours.
5 /5 Khushil Gokani: I had an afternoon off work and a few hours to kill so I thought Id try to get Pockets as I happened to be in the area and I was not disappointed.
The falafel wrap was so good and filled to the brim. I would highly recommend it. Its just a shame Im rarely in the area.
5 /5 shai zach: Delightful falafel, extremely tasty, freshly made, served in a soft pitta with interesting salads, fried aubergine, tahini, wonderful chilli spread (we asked for extra spicy and it was perfect) topped with sharp yellow amba sauce. The service was very friendly, there is one item on the menu and the whole experience was really enjoyable. Highly recommended
5 /5 J N: I was thoroughly impressed with the pitta, the staff, and the food.
The pitta was an incredible blend of flavours and spices. The lemon iced tea was also refreshing.
However, there could be better line management. People often skip the line by joining friends. Consequently, after waiting for 40 minutes with one person in front of you, suddenly 40-50 people show up and skip the line.
Layla Hussain always come here for chicken wrap and chips.. my local takeaway.. food is always made fresh so i never mind waiting and the gentlemen serving is also kind.. will always recommend!!
Mark Monaghan Some dishes were very nice (mainly the bread and leek starters). However, some others, mainly the Denver steak main, were quite disappointing, especially when considering this costs just shy of £50. The dish took about an hour to arrive and was cold when it did (I assume it had been left out and perhaps a waiter had forgotten to take it to us). The waiter did offer to reheat it but this left it quite chewy. Overall it was not enjoyable and certainly did not meet the standard expected for the price. The service was also very slow throughout the remainder of the night and after ordering a single rice pudding dessert to share, this also took an additional 30 minutes to arrive. We spent another 15 minutes waiting for the waiter to bring the card machine after receiving the bill meaning in total we spent about 3 hours in the restaurant which was much longer than we had intended. I appreciate it was New Year’s Eve and so perhaps it was busier than the staff were used to, but again, this falls short of the standard one would expect for a restaurant where we paid around £90 per person on food alone. The atmosphere was pleasant but given the above I would not return nor could I in good conscience recommend it to a friend.
John Absolute gem. It’s really cozy and the food….! I could tell they used really good ingredients and they put their heart in designing each dish. Each taste well balanced and when I took a bite multiple layers of textures unfolded on my tongue. The wine on the menu is also really nice.
Yaqi Cai This place specializes in Mediterranean cuisine — refined but not flashy. Every dish is super substantial, made with quality ingredients. After eating, I felt incredibly healthy, like even my skin was glowing!
Plus, they offer a lunch set: a main dish + two kinds of salad as a meal deal, all for just a little over a tenner — feels like a great deal!
V C Absolutely loved this coffee spot! Tried their Peanut Butter Coffee, and it was simply superb—creamy, nutty, and really unique. The friendly staff and cozy atmosphere made my day even better. Highly recommend stopping by for a special treat!
