donkey 172 What a restaurant! We’ve wanted to eat here for some time and it didn’t disappoint. The service was incredible, super friendly and warming. The food was some of the best we’ve had! The Tuna Steak special was my personal favourite! It was my Wife’s birthday and they brought some ice cream and a chocolate happy birthday on a plate which was a lovely touch! Cannot recommend enough! Pricey though so be prepared lol!!

Chandrika Cycil We love Nippon! We have been ordering takeaway and going in for a while now. We love going in. The service is amazing. They are lovely with our children and take a special interest and take time to make sure we can enjoy our meal. The food choice is wonderful and we have enjoyed everything we ate there. They do lunch specials every weekday which are great value. We always have the Japanese tea with our meal/ I have tried the saki cocktails once and it was great! - We have regularly tried all their lunch specials: bento boxes, donburi, curries and ramen. Our favourites from what we’ve tried over our visits : - Katsu curry - Omu rice - Japanese fried chicken - Bento boxes (esp tempura, teriyaki) - Donburi (beef and pork were good. It’s the ones we’ve tried) But you really can’t go wrong with what you eat there. We will keep going back as it’s our regular lunch choice during weekdays and weekends. Anita Macdonald Visited for lunch and husband had large all day breakfast, absolutely loved it. Nice big doorstep slice of toast with butter & side of chips included. I had an omelette with salad, I wanted a slightly smaller meal which was no problem for them, they did a two egg one instead of four and it was still plenty big enough. Real community cafe with excellent service provided by the staff, extremely hard working and they make sure you have everything you need. Thoroughly enjoyed it & would recommend to anyone.

Shubham Sharma Amazing food and outstanding service from Kudrat. Each and every item we ordered was delicious. I would highly recommend their Butter Chicken ! Only thing that can be bit changed is the Music, which should be Punjabi !

yaser rehman Had an amazing experience at Istanbul Shish! The food was absolutely impeccable – full of flavour and beautifully prepared. The service was just as impressive. Omid provided truly impeccable service and made us feel very welcome throughout the meal. Also a big shoutout to the waiter who used to be a singer in Istanbul – he was incredibly friendly and added such a warm, enjoyable vibe to the evening. Overall, amazing service and outstanding food. Highly recommend!

J Kirkham Booked an overnight stay with the Ivy due to meetings in the area. Brilliant stay from start to finish. Staff were superb - I didn’t arrive until around 8ish in the evening. Room was spotless and comfortable bed and slept very well. Staff were super friendly, welcoming and very helpful and attentive. The food was superb I had dinner and breakfast with them on my arrival. The fish pie was excellent quality. Great stay from start to finish Would very happily stay again! 10/10
