Paola De Paola Photography Review for Isla Terrace at The Standard, London I’d love to share my experience photographing a wedding at the wonderful Isla Terrace at The Standard, near St Pancras Station in London. I recently photographed the gorgeous celebration of Simon and Roddy, joined by their two adorable dogs. They had their official ceremony just a few minutes away at Camden Town Hall, then continued their day surrounded by friends and family at this truly unique venue. The Isla Terrace feels like a tropical haven in the heart of London, full of lush greenery, palms, and natural light. It has that beautiful greenhouse feel, warm and relaxing, yet so stylish and modern. The atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming, and it honestly felt as though we were somewhere far away and exotic. The team were exceptional, especially Hannah Hillier, the senior manager on the day, who was kind, efficient, and incredibly accommodating. Everything flowed beautifully, and the couple felt completely relaxed, which made the whole experience a joy to photograph. If you’re planning a wedding near Camden Town Hall and want a venue that’s modern, creative, and effortlessly elegant, I can’t recommend Isla Terrace enough. It’s pet-friendly, beautifully designed, and has that perfect balance of style and comfort. I can’t wait to return, it’s definitely one of London’s hidden gems. I love it!!!! Viktoria Varga Super quick service. Friendly staff. I had a normal size wrap- which was big enough for two people. The falafel was tasty, and it wasnt dry. Super cheap (£5.5). Next to the church there is a small garden, perfect to eat your food there.

Veronica Tortorella O Tino is one of our absolute favourite restaurants. The food is consistently excellent, and the Bife O Tino is simply outstanding and the kind of dish that keeps you coming back. Beyond the food, what really makes it special is the warm and genuine attention from the owners. They make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in, creating a friendly atmosphere that feels almost like home. A place we return to again and again, highly recommended for both the food and the heartfelt hospitality. Big thank you from your Uruguayan friend!

Evil Edna This place is truly lovely, a peaceful place in the heart of London. Delicious food which is veggie or vegan, welcoming to all there are lots of different areas including two outside spaces, its really well thought out. I really appreciated the sign about loud hand dryers for austic users. The toilets are also top notch

Joseph A wonderful little café situated in the quiet but spacious Childs Hill Park. They serve authentic and homemade food, fresh and soft bread, and various drinks and ice creams. The staff are very welcoming, friendly, and quick. There is a little indoor seating but plenty of outdoor seating on all sides of the restaurant, all bathed in sun and a little bit of shade. A lovely little spot to grab a small bite, and enjoy a coffee in a park.
