Sundal Roy So good! Very delicious authentic Thai food (I lived in Thailand for 2 years). If you’re vegan, ask for the separate vegan menu. Lots of options, super fresh delicious ingredients. We got a noodle dish, the green curry, a soup and corn fritters and it came to £52 including service, so pretty reasonably priced too. Decor is very atmospheric with beautiful Thai wood carvings. Service was friendly, helpful and attentive with a warm welcome. Will definitely be back!

PatchSlaw7 As a tourist, I felt absolutely welcome here. The service, and our waiter, Rose, were nothing short of amazing. We first ordered drinks and they were very good, and then we ordered our food. Rose forgot to put in our orders at first, which wasn’t a big deal. We are all humans, we make mistakes, but in light of that, she gave us a free round of drinks. Rose was a very great waitress. Very cordial, professional, and friendly. Our food was absolutely delicious and it was overall a 10/10 experience. If I’m ever back in London, I will for sure be coming back here.

Lewis Excellent cocktails and a great selection of draught beer. The music was jazzy and interesting so no complaints from me! The Thai menu looks quite attractive too - better than the usual pub menu. Highly recommended.

George Griffiths The pizza was delicious, perhaps the best I have ever eaten. The quality of the ingredients was obviously very high and it was superbly cooked. We had some “waffle bites” for dessert which were fun and tasty too.

Kalina Christev Short review: great food, fast service, good prices. Definitely recommend! Small Somali restaurant my friend introduced me to. I got the soup of the day as an appetiser and slow cooked lamb with rice as a main, with speciality tea after. The soup of the day was a lamb bone broth with lemon, and it was DIVINE. So delicious, so warming. They bring this amazing chili sauce you can add to it which makes it absolutely perfect. (Be warned - it is very spicy! Only add one small teaspoon at a time!) I would come back just for that soup as its the best Ive ever had. And only ÂŁ1.50! The lamb shoulder was very tender and the rice was really well seasoned. The veg sprinkled on top was just right. For the rice, its recommend to mix in a few teaspoons of the chili sauce (again - its very hot so dont add lots in one go). Bananas were brought to the table with the option of adding them to the rice, but I didnt try it. ÂŁ10 for a very large portion. We had some kind of Somali tea with milk, cardamom and cinnamon at the end. I dont know what it was, but it was lovely.

House of Ming - Chinese Restaurant - Westminster

Raihan Mirza Rimu We recently had the pleasure of dining at House of Ming, one of London’s most refined Chinese fine-dining destinations, nestled inside the iconic Taj Hotel at 51 Buckingham Gate, just a short walk from Buckingham Palace. This historic property itself beautifully blends Victorian architecture with contemporary luxury, offering an atmosphere that feels both grand and intimate. House of Ming carries forward the heritage of the authentic Northern Chinese imperial cuisine and continues the tradition with elegant interiors, warm ambient lighting, impeccable service, and dishes crafted with remarkable precision and artistry. At the House of Ming, expect a dining experience that marries tradition with innovation, graced by the incomparable touch of Taj service. The ambiance is a testament to inspired design, while the culinary offerings are a symphony of sophistication and delectability. From the delicate dim sum to the beautifully presented signature mains, every plate felt like a celebration of flavour and craftsmanship. The attention to detail — from the table setting to the quiet sophistication of the dining room — truly reflects understated luxury. If you appreciate fine dining experiences in London that combine history, heritage, and culinary excellence, this is certainly a place worth discovering.
