Bun Mok Very nice Cantonese food! I’m from HongKong, So as the chef as I heard, and I do think it’s authentic. I definitely feel closer to Home. I would say it’s taste like home, I understand that some ingredient are not possible to get exactly the same way as in Hong Kong. So I definitely appreacite the effort ! A large selection of dishes which I am surprised. I ordered from the menu, not the buffet, since that’s not usually how we go to a Cantonese parlour, therefore food is in bigger portion, and the plating seems nicer (I guess), and you know what? It ends up being cheaper. For the whole table. Best value/quality for Cantonese Chinese food in Reading I have tried! Keep on the good work! The food is beautiful, not too oily, not overly sweet with cornstarch sauce, not overly rely on the dreaded “sweet and sour sauce” (that’s not a good representation of Chinese food) and most of all, definitely the quality is not like those take away Chinese food shops! Please try this for yourself! You get what you pay for! And actually it’s not much more expensive. It is not busy at all at most times and I think it is underrated. The atmosphere was good , it’s very neat , clean and comfortable. I was chatting with a waitress who was friendly and also come from Hong Kong. I came multiple times with my family and friends, and will definitely try other dishes.

Sumaya Ahmed Weve ordered from JS Gourmet a few times now and always enjoy the freshly cooked meals. Its also great that they take into account the different spices levels we ask for, theyre the first place weve been to where they actually give mild items like pakoras when we ask for mild. Cristina Stone A Pleasant Stay at Hilton Reading I had a very pleasant experience at Hilton Reading. While the hotel is not overly fancy, it’s clean, comfortable, and well-kept — just what you need for a relaxing visit. One of the highlights for me was the outdoor seating area, which was a lovely spot to sit and enjoy some fresh air. It added a nice touch of calm to the overall atmosphere. What really stood out, though, was the service. We were looked after by Ilia, who was genuinely warm, attentive, and professional. He made us feel welcome and ensured everything went smoothly during our visit. It’s always the people who make the biggest difference, and Ilia certainly did. We also had dinner, and we were looked after by Zoltan, who we know from our previous stay and he is always welcoming and friendly and two lovely youngsters Ava and Toby. Overall, it is a nice, down-to-earth hotel with excellent service. Would happily stay again
