Sabrina S I’ve been coming to San Marino in Brixton for years and it has always been one of my absolute favourite spots. It’s a family-run café and you really feel that warmth every time you walk in — the staff are genuinely welcoming and make you feel at home. The food is consistently amazing, especially the breakfasts, which are some of the best in Brixton. Everything is always fresh, well-cooked and generous, and it’s the kind of place you can rely on every single time. I’ve brought friends and family here over the years and it’s always the first place I recommend. I also love that they now have a bar in the evenings — the cocktails and atmosphere are brilliant and it’s become my go-to spot before and after gigs. Every visit reminds me why I keep coming back. Always leave happy, full, and already planning the next visit.

Georgina Cavey A wonderful pub & restaurant on Kew Green. The Rose & Crown has been tastefully renovated by the new owners. It has a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Andreas, Oli and the rest of the team are always friendly and helpful. They have a delicious menu, we’ve eaten here many times trying their mid week locals lunch, their A La Carte menu and their Sunday Roast. Nothing ever disappoints! They have a cosy fire when you enter & on warmer days the outside terrace is a perfect spot to look over Kew Green. It feels like you’ve escaped to the countryside! In the summer months you can also enjoy watching the Cricket from the front terrace. We are delighted that The Rose & Crown is our local pub.

Thomas Albert Maufer The coffee was pretty good but honestly I prefer Chai Latte in colder weather. The food looked good, but it was too close to dinnertime for me to try the food. If youre in the area, Id say that its a good place to get coffee and pastry. The hot chocolate is also nice on a chilly rainy afternoon.

K. Cem Çelik An outstanding experience from start to finish. I had heard positive things, but it still surpassed my expectations. The service was impeccable, always delivered with genuine warmth. The food was exceptional, and the generous portions completed a truly memorable evening. We left both impressed and happy.

Zain Zafar Honestly, just try it, you won’t be disappointed. Amazing rotisserie chicken that isn’t dry and just falls off the bone and is seasoned so well. The steak was unbelievable, I’ve had some very fine steaks but this is one of the best. So perfectly seared and just look at the colour it had! Great service, this is a must try/top eats in Richmond. (Truffle mash is also a must try)

Alan Chan A real little hidden gem. The cafe is small, cute and cosy, right opposite the station. They offer Japanese meals, teas and cakes / baking. There is a lunch special menu that changes. For me my favourite is the udon with prawn tempura which I really recommend.
