Erica I absolutely love Hare and Tortoise in Ealing Broadway! It’s my go-to spot whether I’m out with family, friends, or celebrating with colleagues at lunchtime. The menu has a fantastic mix of Asian dishes — noodles, rice, soups, and sushi — but I always come back for the sushi. The salmon box and Dragon rolls are my favourites! The portions are generous, the food is always fresh and delicious, and the prices are very reasonable. A great local gem with consistent quality and a relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Md Shamim A small takeaway fast-food spot with a great menu and friendly service. Burgers start from £5.49 for a quarter beef burger and go up to £10.49 for the Nosh Special with chicken and halloumi. There’s a good range of grilled chicken (£4.99–£12.99), wraps like the peri peri chicken breast wrap from £5.99, and pizzas the 14-inch Meat Feast at £10.99 is excellent. They also offer rice & chicken meals, sides, shakes, and drinks. There are 3 sit-and-eat spaces. The Afghan brothers running the place are very welcoming and greet you with Salam. All food is halal, and it’s located beside a Polish supermarket. The only small area for improvement is more regular dustbin cleaning, but overall the food and experience are excellent.

This promise is fulfilled with every single bite. The beauty of the place is undeniable. The décor is stunning, featuring huge, majestic wall pictures of the Bamyan mountains and landscapes. They dont just decorate the space; they speak to you, telling stories of heritage and beauty, creating an atmosphere that is both grand and warmly welcoming. And the food? Absolutely exceptional. The taste is the true star here. Each dish was bursting with flavour, clearly made with passion and traditional recipes. The smell of the fresh, hot Afghan bread alone is enough to make your mouth water and soul happy. It’s the kind of meal that doesnt just satisfy your hunger—it reminds you of home, of family, and of cherished memories. This is all complemented by the wonderfully friendly and hospitable staff, who make you feel like an honoured guest in their home. Our Saturday night gathering turned into an amazing, memorable evening for our entire group. If you are looking for more than just a meal, if youre seeking a genuine taste of Afghan culture and warmth right in the heart of London, I cannot recommend Bamyan Restaurant highly enough. It is a perfect place for friends, family, and anyone who appreciates incredible food in a beautiful setting. We will most certainly be back

Meg Byrne The managers at the restaurant and cafe are amazing, and Rose in the cafe is very detail oriented, quick to get to customer needs. The food is great quality and well presented. During my stay at the hotel (Ember Locke) attached to EVE, the F&B staff seemed overwhelmed, long weight times for food and a number of staff not very proactive for a restaurant atmosphere (standing around until manager directs them what to do). John was fantastic and really handled the low staffing issues with a smile and proactive communication so guests understood why service was taking so long. If you are in a rush, this is not your place, but if you are up for a relaxing, beautiful atmosphere with great music then you will enjoy the space.

glena kurdi This Kurdish and Middle Eastern restaurant is a hidden gem. The flavors are bold, authentic, and clearly made with care. The grilled meats are perfectly seasoned and cooked to juicy perfection especially the lamb kebab, lamb chop which was tender and full of smoky depth. The bulgur was hearty and well-spiced, pairing beautifully with the mains. Fresh tandoori bread added a comforting touch. The platter was excellent and large platter for 2. Warm hospitality and a cozy atmosphere make it even better. A must-visit for anyone craving true regional flavour. Not forgetting the price is super cheap for London.

Rabeea Tahir New Halal restaurant in the town, food was so fresh and taste delicious, ambiance was so good it has proper good vibe for families, really enjoyed our meal we’re so into the food when it serves literally forget to take most of the pictures , their dahi bhalay and samosa chaat so tasty ,and the desserts are must try, prices are very reasonable great value for money, our new go to place for food now
