3 /5 Shan P: Went for a meal with my partner and baby, in hopes of supporting a local business. Owners are lovely people very welcoming and the restaurant was homely. The food… For my main meal I ordered Fried chicken, rice and peas, Mac and cheese and coleslaw. The rice and peas to put it simply was BURNT from the smell alone I don’t see why it was even served and I am very disappointed with that. It was inedible and tasted as bad as it smelt. The fried chicken tasted great however, the pieces I received were mostly bone. I received a very generous slice of mac and cheese and the coleslaw was nice. I also had to request for the plates to be removed from the table as although the table was full the waiter still was bringing more dishes without taking the initiative. My overall experience I personally wouldn’t go back but the issues we all minor in a sense that they could easily be corrected.

5 /5 Zara Kalete: Taste like home definitely has a taste and feel like back in the Caribbean. From the selection of drinks, delicious food and rich, authentic atmosphere. Will definitely be returning to try more dishes.

3 /5 SimSim G: Nice little spot in Catford. Lovely to celebrate Grenada Independence locally. Oildown was delicious - curry mutton and roti was a bit salty. Music was extremely loud so beware if you want a different atmosphere while eating. I would get food to go from here again - but next time Ill check the prices - £37 pounds for oildown and 3 non-alcoholic drinks?? Service did take a little long because it seems to be one man doing all, but I rate the hustle!
