5 /5 E “Bookworm2017”: We had a lovely meal here. Our server, Holly, was so lovely, friendly, and polite, she really made us feel welcome. It’s a really nice pub with a great atmosphere, and the food was excellent. The ribs were the best we’ve had anywhere, absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. The pizza was perfect and the pork belly very nice. We’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend to anyone looking for great food and brilliant service.

5 /5 Steve Dickinson: We had a lovely meal for six. Large portions so I brought half my food home with me. Easy parking, relaxed atmosphere, helpful staff (when we needed a cushion for my mother). Id definitely go there again.

5 /5 William Gow: Dont know about the rooms as only ate there. Stopped for lunch here and glsd we did. I ordered 1/2 rack of ribs fries n salad. Meat fell of ribs as cooked to perfection. My wife had belly pork and potatoes again meat perfect.drinks i had premium lager the head stayed on top all the way down to finnish thumbs up to the person looking after the pipes. Service exellent no probs at all. Would i recommend this place yes of course without a doubt. Thanks to all staff. NB. I would say book a table in advance we did not but got the last small table sll other tables were booked. [ i think you can eat in the bar. ]

5 /5 Joao Ornelas: I got to have the company’s Christmas lunch there. The mood was very cosy and the service was great. The food was very tasty. I got as a starter the oven squid, for lunch the bobotie and for desert the banoffee pie. You can see by the images that the presentation was impressive and the taste was even better. I really recommend it.

4 /5 J Tamara: Just came for Sunday lunch. Did not realise they had two sittings, one at 12 and another at 2:30 (I think). Can make it awkward when you want to eat within those times. Fortunately they accommodated our later arrival at 12:30. We had two carvery’s and the food was delicious. I would definitely recommend. The only thing that would make it better for me would be to have the option to have a smaller carvery portion. If that was possible I’d definitely go again.
