5 /5 T Lovegrove: What a great Pub/Restaurant this is. A table for 12 had been booked, and I must say, the staff were brilliant and made us all feel most welcome. The service was excellent, as was the food. This is certainly a venue Id recommend, beit for a large or for just a couple, it wont disappoint. The food was super and well prepared and presented, too. This is definitely a place Id recommend and most definitely return to.

4 /5 Marie Dolman: First visit to this pub and well return. Service was very good. Good portion sizes, & the Sunday roast was delicious. We opted for bread & oils to start, but there wasnt enough balsamic vinegar/too much olive oil, & a side of butter would have been appreciated. Disappointing that 2 desserts had sold out, but ice-cream with Baileys poured over was lovely! Pub was small, but warm with a roaring fire. Would recommend.

5 /5 Angela Appleby: We went out of our way to come for lunch after reading positive reviews and happy to say that the food and service lived up to the hype. There were so many things on the menu I wanted it was hard to chose. In the end I went for the excellent lamb burger and my husband had the pie of the day, which was really good. Large, tasty children’s potions also and good value. Service was great also.

5 /5 Katie Morgan: First time visiting, went on a Sunday for a roast dinner. Very lovely cosy pub, lovely atmosphere. Staff were very friendly. Food was lovely. And a bonus being dog friendly. Would definitely recommend for a roast dinner. Will be heading back to try the weekly menu soon x

5 /5 Joe S: We had lunch here today out in the garden, beautiful weather and even more beautiful food. The scotch egg was perfection, the confit pork belly roast was perfection, the kids sausage and mash was perfection and the brownie was perfection. As an ex chef i rarely enjoy food in restaurants as Im very critical but after this meal theres not one single thing i would criticise. The staff were amazing and really friendly. Simple pub food done incredibly well just how a country pub should be. Thank you so much and we will see you again!
