5 /5 Tim Parsons: Absolutely love what you guys are doing. The pub has a great quirky atmosphere and fantastic events. Great selection of food and drink (including a good range of non alcoholic options for drivers). The staff are very welcoming and friendly too.

5 /5 Josh Nickell: This is the pub experience you are missing. As an American family living in Reading this was one of our favorite places to visit. Not only does it have the right pub feel it also has tons of gluten free and allergy friendly options. My favorite was the gluten free fish and chips but they had sandwiches with gluten free bread and many other options. If you are gluten free try the wold top marmalade. It’s the best dark gluten free beer I’ve ever had. It gives the thick dark Guinness vibes. The owners are great people who obviously care about the pub and guests.

5 /5 Kerrie Goodman: Food was absolutely fantastic. Great range of gluten free options, full of flavour. Ive been dreaming about the apple and blackberry crumble ever since. The decor is quirky, and access isnt great for those who are disabled due to the layout. But its an old place and I dont think they could do anything to rectify it. I understand in the summer you can eat in the garden which would solve the issue. Well worth a trip.

Excellent choice of food for all tastes and levels, simply fabulous real ale as well as other stuff for those not into that.
