Paola De Paola Photography Review for Isla Terrace at The Standard, London I’d love to share my experience photographing a wedding at the wonderful Isla Terrace at The Standard, near St Pancras Station in London. I recently photographed the gorgeous celebration of Simon and Roddy, joined by their two adorable dogs. They had their official ceremony just a few minutes away at Camden Town Hall, then continued their day surrounded by friends and family at this truly unique venue. The Isla Terrace feels like a tropical haven in the heart of London, full of lush greenery, palms, and natural light. It has that beautiful greenhouse feel, warm and relaxing, yet so stylish and modern. The atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming, and it honestly felt as though we were somewhere far away and exotic. The team were exceptional, especially Hannah Hillier, the senior manager on the day, who was kind, efficient, and incredibly accommodating. Everything flowed beautifully, and the couple felt completely relaxed, which made the whole experience a joy to photograph. If you’re planning a wedding near Camden Town Hall and want a venue that’s modern, creative, and effortlessly elegant, I can’t recommend Isla Terrace enough. It’s pet-friendly, beautifully designed, and has that perfect balance of style and comfort. I can’t wait to return, it’s definitely one of London’s hidden gems. I love it!!!! Tang Seng Chhev If youre craving Japanese-style buffets, this is the perfect spot for you. Theres also another place called Eat Tokyo nearby, offering the same extensive menu as the regular Eat Tokyo. Both options are great for those looking to enjoy a variety of delicious Japanese dishes!

Hok Lim Cheung Ordered 2 solvalaki and a wrap, all three tasted really nice but the beef was a bit too brunt so its a bit bitter. Ordered on screen and waited for a long while so went to ask what happened. Seems like our order has been missed but the gentlemen (who looks like venom, Tom Hardy) had quickly come and saved the day. Would be better if they include an option in the screen where customer can opt-out ingredients. My sis cannot tolerate onions so it could have been easier for her to not have it inside

Armin Rahmatpour Great experience overall. The food was genuinely delicious and well prepared, but what really stood out was the service Jamshid was amazing, attentive, friendly, and made us feel very welcome without being overbearing. The atmosphere is lovely, and the interior is especially beautiful, with a warm, stylish design that makes the place feel inviting and relaxed. Definitely an amazing spot I’d be glad to return to. Thank you so much!

Ayo makan This must be among the best gozleme places in London. The couple running it are very nice and attentive, the selection of different gozlemes and how to eat them is great. Their lamb gozleme wrap is insanely good, but the box format is a bit more manageable. Great prices as well for such a centric London location.

Sam Brooks Passing through shopping, walked in because it looked vibey and interesting. Just had a Diet Coke but then thought to try the wings. BEST WINGS EVER. So tasty, lovely staff very friendly. One man really helped me to understand the area because I’m not local and gave me directions to where I needed to get what I want. 10/10 Yalla ❤️
