5 /5 Danish ahmed: After several years living in London, I finally tried Vijay’s Chawalla—and it did not disappoint. The chole bhature were superb, and the pav bhaji was rich, balanced, and deeply satisfying. Excellent food, warm staff, and a place I’ll gladly return to.

5 /5 Ashes Gurung: A lovely restaurant to eat authentic vegetarian food. The staff were welcoming and calm. The tables normally accommodates 4 people but dont order all at once. The food arrived quickly. The food taste was good. There is a street Car parking in front. There is a decent washroom facilities. There was also high chairs provided for childrens. Overall a lovely easy to go restaurant for vegetarian food.

1 /5 Hiba Asif: Dinned here today for quick iftar whilst shopping on green street. Ordered masala dosa and pav bhaji. Quite disappointed with the food. Probably the WORST dosa I’ve ever come across. No masala on the dosa, dosa was dry and taste like stiff sheet/crepe without actual taste. The aloo stuffing was average (with peas which tasted off) and their chutney was grated coconut. I get it that people may make dosas differently and maybe it’s not a south Indian restaurant to make ideal ones but if that’s the case the pav bhaji..they didn’t even have pav. Toasted burger buns. Pretty sure the street vendors did better street foods than that. When enquired about the food we were told this was their masala dosa and that’s about it. People may enjoy it but for Asian area and a busy street I cannot express my disappointment. I did see people enjoying lassi and other drinks. Can’t comment on other dishes but if you dine here please save your money and avoid the above.

5 /5 Francesca BATCHELOR: We had a 70th birthday party at home with 25 guests, we decided to order the deluxe thali and all our guests were so complimentary of the food. Portions, we had more than enough. The communication was really good, we paid bank transfer ahead of the date and collected the food on the day. Really well packaged and labeled. Would recommend and order again for any party! Our guests were a mixture of Indian Asian and white British and the flavours and spice levels was appropriate for everyone.
