Fortunella Café - Kingston upon Thames

Rating: 4.6 /5
DeepDownDirty Record Label Always lovely to find a good independent coffee shop and Fortunellas food is good. They dont skimp on quality. Their eggs are the rich golden-yolked variety and you can tell just by looking at their bacon it is good quality bacon. Same goes for their sausages. Service was fine. The café is a little small and a bit cold but I didnt mind that in exchange for good food. I usually look at my partners English breakfast with some disdain (because so many cafés dont use good quality produce) but this time I was begging him to let me taste a little. My burrata was ok. Not the best I have ever had but ok. I loved the salsa and homemade pesto around the edge of my plate. My partners mushrooms were also cooked to perfection and not slimy! Great work! Coffee was good. This café is not suitable for small children, buggies or wheelchairs due to the size and entrance and the toilet is upstairs.
ten restaurant

Ten Restaurant - Hillingdon

Rating: 4.7 /5
Joseph I proposed to my wife at Ten Restaurant with the help of Weronika and the staff, and from day one they were so helpful and supportive. Everything ran smoothly, which made the whole experience even more special. When we were planning our wedding, we decided to have our reception back at Ten—and honestly, we’re so glad we did. Weronika and her team were amazing. Weddings are stressful, but they listened to everything we asked for and executed it perfectly, right down to the seating plan and the food. Weronika even picked up our wedding cake for us, which was such a kind gesture. Our guests loved the food, the atmosphere, and how friendly the staff were. Amazing memories were made, and our wedding day was made that extra bit special. 10/10 at Ten Restaurant lol.

Riverside Walk Kingston - Kingston upon Thames

Rating: 4.7 /5
Gulnara A Lovely Spot by the Thames – Kingston Riverside Kingston Riverside is one of my favourite places to unwind in Southwest London. Right by the River Thames, it’s got that perfect balance of lively atmosphere and scenic charm. Whether you’re popping down for a casual stroll, grabbing a coffee, or enjoying a meal by the water, there’s always something quite special about the vibe here. The selection of restaurants and pubs along the riverside is solid — from cosy spots for a pint to more upscale dining. On a sunny day, the outdoor seating areas are buzzing, and the view of the river with the boats gently passing by is just brilliant. It’s also great for walks or bike rides, especially with the Thames Path running through. And with the town centre just a short walk away, it’s incredibly convenient. All in all, Kingston Riverside is a gem — perfect for a relaxed day out or just soaking up some riverside atmosphere.
las iguanas southampton

Las Iguanas - Southampton -

Rating: 4.4 /5
Richard Wilson Friends of ours fancied a tex-mex dinner, and Las Iguanas in Southampton definitely fitted the bill. The bar/restaurant is large and spacious, but one needs to log into the WiFi next door in order to receive a mobile Internet signal. Las Iguanas offers happy hour cocktails, at 2 for ÂŁ13. We found the Long Island Ice Teas to be very weak, and were pretty certain that these came out of a pre-mixed bottle. However, the Mojitos and the Margueritas kicked more of a punch and made for very decent cocktails. The quality of the food was really good. We had the marinated picanha steak strip fajitas and the meat was really tender and very nicely seasoned. Our friends had the quesadilla and also the chicken salad; both of which they totally enjoyed. Service was reasonably good on the whole, given that the restaurant was really busy. Id definitely eat and drink here again.

Her Slow Journey What an absolute gem of a place. The food is fantastic, with simple, high-quality ingredients cooked beautifully. The restaurant is beautiful - I loved the aesthetic. It feels calm and welcoming without being pretentious. I had the chicken soup and dumplings. Both dishes were full of flavour and made with care.

THE ROCHESTER CAFE - Westminster

Rating: 4.5 /5
Adrienne Furniss Really lovely small cafe well located. The staff was very kind and clearly cared about the regulars who came in often (prime people watching). I had a plain croissant and a pumpkin latte which was very good--not too sweet or fake tasting. I wish I were staying more locally to return.
