5 /5 Merilyn Winston: I ended up walking across Southwark Bridge the other evening and it was such a nice change from the busier bridges nearby. It is definitely one of the more underrated spots because you get these incredible wide views of the city and the Tate Modern without having to dodge massive groups of tourists. I love the distinct green colour of the arches and the way the bridge feels a bit more hidden and local which made it the perfect place to just stop for a second and watch the river traffic go by in peace.
