5 /5 Sable Delaney: Im not reviewing the service etc as I didnt attend any. I visited purely because it was open.
They do seem to have daily recitals (free) and services. Check whats on, on the website.
I found it to be a beautiful and relaxing space. Lovely stained glass and dark woods with the entire building beautifully maintained.
The Tower Chapel is for the Royal Marines. There is a second chapel of a military bent but I dont know if it is for a specific military branch or purpose.
There were some lovely old flags, and archaeological remains dating back to The Great Fire and before.
I aim to return to take in a service and/or recital.
Ive included lots of photos for those who maybe cant attend, especially those who may have served in the Royal Marines.
